Cyril Keller - Wellenschaum

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland, Germany.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for color, forms, and creative expression grew—the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. This opened up a completely new creative world for me, one that continues to excite me to this day. Since then I have dedicated myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique shapes and textures created by the squeegee technique. Each painting is for me a new journey of discovery, where intuition, creativity, and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love continuously evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism to the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that move people, stimulate their imagination, and give them lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful aspect of abstract art is its openness. Each viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, and lets it resonate in its own unique way. It is this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
