Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.
My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes, and creative expression developed—the foundation of my painting today.
In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, which continues to excite me to this day. Since then I have devoted myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experiment with new techniques, color combinations, and image structures.
I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures that arise from the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity, and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love continually evolving and finding new ways to bring emotion and dynamism to the canvas.
Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My aim is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and bring them joy in the long term.
The best thing about abstract art for me is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, and lets it affect them in a highly individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
