Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland.
My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for color, shapes, and creative expression developed—the foundation of my painting today.
In 2015 I found my path into abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, a world that still inspires me today. Since then I have been dedicating myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experimenting with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.
I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures that arise from the squeegee technique. Every painting is, for me, a new journey of discovery, where intuition, creativity, and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love constantly evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.
Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with great enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.
For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Each viewer discovers something of their own, bringing their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting and thus letting it affect them in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
