Cyril Keller - Light The Way

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s, when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed—the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path into abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, one that continues to inspire me to this day. Since then I have pursued abstract painting with great passion and continuously experiment with new techniques, color combinations and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and textures that arise through the squeegee technique. Each painting is, for me, a new journey of discovery where intuition, creativity and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love constantly developing myself and finding new ways to convey emotions and dynamism on the canvas.

Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiastic optimism. My goal is to create works that move people, spark their imagination and bring them lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a work and lets it affect them in a completely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
