Cyril Keller - What You Know

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s, when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 90s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes, and creative expression developed—the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. This opened up a completely new creative world for me that continues to excite me to this day. Since then I have devoted myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and textures that arise from the scraper technique. Each painting is, for me, a new journey of discovery where intuition, creativity, and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love constantly evolving and finding new ways to convey emotions and dynamism on the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Each viewer discovers something of their own, bringing their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, letting it affect them in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
