Cyril Keller - New Today

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978, in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this period, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes, and creative expression began to unfold—the foundation of my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, and it continues to inspire me to this day. Since then I have dedicated myself with great passion to abstract painting, continually experimenting with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures that arise from the squeegee technique. Each painting is, to me, a new journey of discovery where intuition, creativity, and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love constantly developing and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.

Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.

For me, the best thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, and lets it resonate in a completely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
