Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.
My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, forms, and creative expression—the foundation of my current painting—developed.
In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, one that continues to excite me to this day. Since then I have dedicated myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.
I am particularly fascinated by the unique shapes and structures created by the palette knife technique. Each painting is, for me, a new discovery, where intuition, creativity, and playfulness come together. As a self-taught artist, I love continually evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.
Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.
For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, and lets it affect them in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
