Cyril Keller - Sweetest Season

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From about 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for color, forms, and creative expression grew—the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, one that continues to inspire me to this day. Since then I have pursued abstract painting with great passion, continuously experimenting with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique shapes and structures that arise through the squeegee technique. Each painting is, for me, a new journey of discovery where intuition, creativity, and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love continually evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, and thus it has an effect in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
