Cyril Keller - Oase Der Zeit

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed—the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. It opened up a completely new creative world for me, which still excites me today. Since then I have been dedicating myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experimenting with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and textures that arise from the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new expedition for me, where intuition, creativity and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love to continually develop and find new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that move people, stimulate their imagination and bring them lasting joy.

The best thing about abstract art for me is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting, and lets it resonate in a completely individual way. It is exactly this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
