Poster with typographic text. On green paper. Sheet size: 85 x 61 cm. The Lübeck-born Francois Rappo (1826-1874) counts among the intellectuals of the fairground trade in the 19th century; he worked scientifically in branches of art history, constructed stage settings and oriented himself with the living pictures shown by his "Lady Staff" after important paintings. Jhdt.; er arbeitete wissenschaftlich in Zweigen der Kunstgeschichte, konstruierte Bühneneinrichtungen und orientierte sich mit seinen vom "Damen-Personal" gezeigten lebenden Bildern an bedeutenden Gemälden.
