Description from the seller

Smile

Mixed media on cardboard panel – 82 × 82 cm (2026)

Smile integrates the Where the Abstract and Nature Merge series, a group of works that explore the relationship between the animal world, contemporary abstraction, and the spontaneous language of urban art.

In this composition, an organic and expressive form emerges through the overlapping of different layers of paint, gestures, lines, stains, drips, and graphical elements. The presence of an animal figure is constructed in a deliberately fragmented way, merging with the background and creating an image that oscillates between figurative and abstract.

Spontaneous writing and the different marks on the surface introduce a narrative and emotional dimension, while the contrast between colors, textures, and gestures reinforces the free and instinctive character of the work. Elements such as “Forget”, “No Time Bullshit” and “There’s Things We Can’t Explain” add a layer of personal interpretation, pointing to ideas of freedom, identity, and what cannot always be rationally explained.

The combination of the recognizable figure and the gestural language creates a dynamic composition, where each layer contributes to a different reading. The work invites the viewer to discover new forms and meanings as they approach the surface.

Each detail was executed by hand, making this an original and unique piece, with no reproductions.

Technique: Mixed media on cardboard panel (acrylic, spray, markers and other materials).
Year: 2026
Dimensions: 82 × 82 cm.
