Kimura Tohō - Tea cup - Bizen-yaki Tea Cups (Yunomi) by Kimura Tohō - Stoneware

This pair of cups features an elegant design with straight walls and soft, rounded contours. Crafted using the traditional unglazed wood-firing technique, the surfaces display captivating natural kiln-transformation effects; golden ash deposits intertwine with rich "fire colors" (hues resulting from the firing process), giving each cup a unique, organic texture. Distinct traces of hand-throwing are visible on both the interior and exterior.
Each cup bears the artist's circular seal near the base. The set comes with its original wooden presentation box, featuring an inscription handwritten by the artist.
