Description from the seller

SKE - "Duck Hunt Reloaded" - 02/10

Ultra-limited edition: only 10 copies.

It took only a few pixels, an impossible-to-forget dog, and a duck appearing at the wrong moment to wake a whole era. Duck Hunt Reloaded draws from this memory of video games to project it into a much harsher, urban, and contemporary universe.
At the center, the instantly recognizable duo interacts with the codes of retrogaming: Level 1, firing counter, score, progress bar, loading screen. Around it, the image shifts into SKE’s language: splashes, painting gestures, graphic masses, graffiti, sharp contrasts, and this large pixelated skull placed as a warning. Electric blue and bright yellow pop like a screen that left the console to end up on a wall.
SKE doesn’t seek to reproduce a memory. He reloads it. Here, 8-bit aesthetics meet street art and pop art, with a composition that plays on the collision between the innocence of the game, nostalgia, and a much more adult visual energy. It is precisely this offset that gives the piece its power: you immediately recognize the reference, then you discover something else. Duck Hunt Reloaded thus becomes less an image of video game and more a fragment of collective memory transformed into a contemporary work—a piece designed for those who never truly left level 1.

- FRAMING TIPS

Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.

Upon receipt, remove it gently and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing.

ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in DIY or decor stores.

Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and economical; they perfectly showcase the works.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught, versatile French artist who grew up with 80s/90s culture, inspiring most of his artistic works.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencils, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, meld the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s profile has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as the "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also featured in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, solidifying his place in the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.

Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and textured work define a style that is now essential.

SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.

Renowned & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to distort the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the legendary Game Boy to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), along with Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories as if by Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also includes automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured surfaces that sometimes evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your space.
