According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais's market value in 2021 was roughly 600–2,000 euros for his paintings and multiples, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon. He explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the spirit of Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or the expressionism of Karel Appel, roaming the boundaries between abstract gesture and figurative representation. Yet his distinctive mark remains this physical painting, this body-worked material, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue.
Artist represented at Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutch in the Netherlands. According to Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon, Paul Bocuse Abbey gala 2023. Paris, private collection gallery on Île Saint-Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
