Behind the houses rise dark, undulating hills under a sky filled with luminous clouds. The scene conveys a sense of abundance, serenity, and beauty, uniting the joy of a garden in full bloom with the calm of a small seaside town.

The foreground is a true explosion of color. Numerous flowers cluster together with hardly any gaps, forming a leafy band that occupies the entire lower part. Some appear large and clearly visible, while others are reduced to small luminous notes among stems and leaves. This abundance creates a sense of free, generous nature, as if the garden had grown spontaneously in front of the sea.
