The poster comes from VARA's overstock; from the depot it was sold to a private museum. Due to relocation these posters became available.

Posters have traditionally been intended to be pasted with glue. This poster, however, is not. The paper of this poster has a double coating, very exclusive and highly unusual for its time. As early as the 1930s, this luxury form of paper was sometimes used (paper also thicker than normal) and used for the promotion of luxury products such as cars, catalogs, for example. I had the poster examined by an auction house affiliated with IVPDA, and they assessed the poster as the only Dutch edition of this poster and thus authentic.
