Superb Hermès silk twill square scarf, model Proues, designed by Philippe Ledoux, first edition 1973. Iconic nautical motif depicting stylized ship prows, highly appreciated by collectors. Beautiful harmony of colors navy blue, green and gold, particularly elegant when worn.
Silk twill square, about 90 × 90 cm, hand-rolled hem, signature present.
Model listed in the reference work Carré d’Art (edition E), with a good collector-interest index. First edition more sought-after than later reissues.
