Description from the seller

Title:
Pair of lead crystal liquor decanters, hand-painted gilt decoration – Art Deco – likely Bohemian – circa 1930-1950.

Description:
Very elegant pair of lead crystal liquor decanters of high quality, crafted in an Art Deco style.
The two decanters are perfectly matched and come with their original stoppers, fitted by hand.
The crystal is particularly clear, heavy, and resonant, producing a long resonance characteristic of lead crystal.
Each decanter features an octagonal shape with beveled facets, adorned with a hand-painted motif of long stylized leaves in fine gold. The neck is emphasized by a wide gold band and a raised frieze.
The ensemble evokes the luxury productions of Bohemian glassworks (Haida/Nový Bor region), produced during the Art Deco period, around 1930-1950.
No signature, but the quality of workmanship, the weight of the crystal, and the finesse of the gilding attest to a high-end manufacture.

Dimensions:
Height overall: 22.5 cm
Height without stopper: 18 cm
Diameter: 12.2 cm
Weight: 1 kg each without packaging.

Condition:
Very good condition.
no chips
no cracks
original stoppers perfectly fitted
very light wear to the gilding consistent with age
crystal bright and transparent
Photographs form an integral part of the description.
The decanters will be packed with the utmost care in a double-secured packaging.
Careful shipping with insured and trackable service.
