A suggestive classical-style painting depicting a monumental view overlooking the water, animated by a small boat in the foreground. The composition is dominated by a large dark urn placed on a high stone plinth, while on the left a sculptural figure accompanies a staircase immersed in vegetation.

The autumn atmosphere is particularly successful, conveyed through warm tones of ochre, brown, and green, in contrast with the clear sky and the reflections on the water. The scene has a romantic and scenographic character, with a pleasant depth of perspective and numerous architectural and natural details.

The work is presented within an elegant black frame with a rich inner gold border, particularly suited to enhance its tones and compositional arrangement.

The photographs were taken also under spotlight to best show colors, details, and the painted surface.

The artwork shows normal signs and flaws compatible with its age and history. The frame is considered a courtesy and therefore will not be counted in the lot in case of any damage during transport. For each work we issue a certificate of guarantee.
