The work depicts a group of irises immersed in vegetation, dominated by green, blue-gray and ochre tones, with some orange accents that animate the painted surface. Particularly interesting is the rich application of color, applied with thick and decisive brushstrokes, which give movement and depth to the composition.

The painting presents a very pleasant decorative character and an energetic painterly rendering, with a surface rich in texture and chromatic variation.

The work is presented in an elegant black frame with a substantial inner gold band, well matched to the colors of the painting.
