Crystal carafe with a silvered metal mount of French origin, dating from 1850–1900, measuring 33 cm high, 16 cm wide and 10.7 cm deep, in good used condition with minor signs of aging.

Beautiful antique crystal carafe with chased mount ( Rocaille style / 19th century)
Enhance your table with this magnificent water or wine carafe from antique times, combining the elegance of crystal with the finesse of the engraved metal.
Mount: Top of the carafe, spout, and handle richly adorned with volute, foliage and shell motifs (Louis XV / Rocaille style).
Body: Transparent glass/crystal, with a star-cut base on the underside for a neat and elegant finish.
Some internal signs of use. (to be cleaned with white vinegar)
State: Very good overall condition. The crystal shows no luster loss nor cracks. Beautiful antique patina on the metal part that highlights the details of the chasing.
