Description from the seller
Humorous illustrations about weightlifting, the work of the French cartoonist Claude Serré. The scenes are part of a broader collection of drawings dedicated to different sporting themes that I found in an important gym in Barcelona, which hung them in their corridors for the Barcelona 1992 Olympics. In the text of the one above it says in Catalan: Since when do you notice the inflammation?
The style features detailed black-and-white strokes with a humorous approach and the signature SERRÉ in uppercase on each of them; the three are framed in an antique beech frame measuring 25.5 x 53 x 3.5 cm. Framed with matting, each illustration you can see measures about 17 x 12 cm, and at the back there is a piece of good-quality cardboard measuring 20.5 x 15.5 cm.
I cannot be sure whether they are originals or not. In any case, if they are not, they are a high-quality period copy.
They are shipped with the frame, as shown in the photographs.
They ship to Europe. In the islands the shipping price may vary. NO SHIPMENTS TO THE USA.
