Rare Liberty ring signed Frov Vicenza - Early 1900s - A Piece of Italian Goldsmithing History
Made in low-karat gold, which gives the object a warm and enveloping pinkish tone, with coppery highlights typical of the historic alloys of the era. Generally these pieces were made with karats from 9 to 14, and the ring falls in this range. Prudently we indicate the minimum karat as 9 carats, but it could be higher up to 14 carats
The centerpiece of the jewel is characterized by delicate glass paste inlays and small beads, elements typical of the refined taste of that period, which give the whole thing a look of bygone times, of great charm and refinement

The Frov (Fabbriche Riunite Oreficeria Vicentina) represented the apex of goldsmith production in Northern Italy between the late 19th century and the early 20th century. The fame of the maison is such that many of its original creations are today safeguarded and proudly exhibited at the Vicenza Jewelry Museum and preserved in prestigious state collections (attached a photo of a similar ring, but less elaborate kept in a state collection), bearing witness to the artistic and historical importance of the brand on the national scene.
