Japanese 13-piece tea service of very thin egg-shell porcelain, dating from the first half of the 20th century, probably ca. 1920–1930.

Executed in cream/white porcelain with blue lustre glaze and a figurative decoration of a boy with a dog.

The set consists of:
	• tea pot with lid
	• sugar pot with lid
	• milk jug
	• 5 cups
	• 5 matching saucers/dishes

On the underside marked with the red Japanese Dai Nippon (大日本) mark.

Characteristic for this very thin porcelain are the visible irregularities in shape, glaze and finish. These are clearly shown in the photos. Any signs of use and age are also visible in the close-up photos.

No damage, cracks or chips.

Japans 13-delig theeservies van zeer dun eierschaalporselein, daterend uit de eerste helft van de 20e eeuw, vermoedelijk ca. 1920–1930.

Uitgevoerd in crème/wit porselein met blauw lusterglazuur en een figuratieve decoratie van een jongen met hond.

De set bestaat uit:
	•	theepot met deksel
	•	suikerpot met deksel
	•	melkkan
	•	5 kopjes
	•	5 bijbehorende bordjes/schotels

Aan de onderzijde gemerkt met het rode Japanse Dai Nippon (大日本)-merk.

Kenmerkend voor dit zeer dunne porselein zijn de zichtbare onregelmatigheden in vorm, glazuur en afwerking. Deze zijn op de foto’s duidelijk weergegeven. Eventuele gebruikssporen en ouderdomssporen zijn eveneens zichtbaar op de detailfoto’s.
