Description from the seller
Where Light Falls 2026
For sale without frame or stretcher
Author: Vale Noctis
Original and unique work 1/1
⸻
Character of the work
Where Light Falls presents a calm, almost boundless space over the water, where architecture and the natural landscape form a single, harmonious composition. In the center of the image is a glowing horizon, surrounded by mountains and the reflection of light on the water’s surface. Geometric forms, monumental arches, stairs, and straight architectural lines bring a sense of order and timeless space to the landscape.
Delicate golden accents and warm light contrast with darker, minimalist structures. Special emphasis is given to transitions, openings, and frames that direct the eye toward the distant landscape and light.
The architecture may evoke associations with passage, discovery, calm, or the search for a new perspective. The image does not present a single, explicit story - it leaves room for the viewer’s own associations, emotions, and interpretation.
⸻
Technique and materials
The work is created on high-quality CANVAS cotton, 360 g/m². It was produced through an original process combining digital creation, composition, image editing, and working with light, color, and detail.
The creative process also uses AI-based tools as aids to artistic work, as well as professional digital composition, editing, layering, and post-production tools.
Digital technologies, including AI, are part of the contemporary artist’s toolkit. The final composition results from the artist’s selections, arrangement, editing, and multi-stage refinement of the image.
The work is sold without a frame or float mount.
⸻
Dimensions
Artwork format: 120 × 80 cm or 80 × 120 cm.
The canvas has a 5 cm white margin on each side, giving overall dimensions of 130 × 90 cm or 90 × 130 cm.
⸻
Authenticity
Original and unique piece 1/1, sold directly by the artist.
A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) accompanies the work, confirming its authenticity and unique character.

Collections
Vale Noctis’s works are created as original 1/1 pieces and reach private collections of people interested in contemporary art and original, moodful compositions.
The work covers a variety of motifs—from seascapes and schooners to mysterious portals, architecture, and monumental spaces, as well as portraits, figures, and abstract structures. The diversity of themes is united by a distinctive atmosphere of light and shadow, golden accents, and space that leaves room for individual interpretation.
⸻
About the artist
Vale Noctis creates contemporary, moody images where light, space, nature, architecture, and human experience merge into original, multi-layered compositions.
His works include landscapes, the sea, sailing ships, mountains, architecture, portals, geometric forms, faces, characters, and abstract structures. These motifs do not form a closed catalog – the work remains open to new subjects, directions, and ways of building an image.
The characteristic pairing of light and shadow, golden accents, deep tones, reflections, and space gives his works a recognizable atmosphere. An important element of his art is the tension between reality and imagination — between what can be recognized and what remains open to individual interpretation.
In the artistic process, contemporary digital tools are used, including AI as an aiding tool, as well as tools for digital composition, editing, working with layers, color, light, and detail. These technologies are part of the artist’s workshop, enabling the development and precise refinement of the author’s vision while maintaining control over composition, visual direction, and the final character of the work.
