Dalma Mátéfi - Hurry

Photography became truly defining in my life in 2017 — though the world of light and fleeting moments has drawn me in since my high school years.

I love to travel, to discover new places and meet new people. Most of my photographs are born along the way, in those moments when curiosity and experience collide. For me, photography is exploration: a constant search for new techniques, new perspectives, and new stories waiting to be told.

Through my images, I try to capture the mood, the rhythm, and the quiet silences of the world. Cityscapes and candid portraits are closest to my heart — especially when a single frame holds an entire story within it.

I believe that every truly great photograph has a soul. And that photography is the most beautiful shared language — one that all of us can understand, wherever we are in the world.

With 56 different photographs accepted 244 times in International Photographic Salons across 26 countries, and 23 international awards, my work has been exhibited in Budapest, Veszprém, Miskolc, Vienna, Barcelona, London, and New York.
