Esty O - Sea Of Galilee

I am a contemporary abstract artist working intuitively with acrylics, layered textures, organic forms, and handwritten elements.

My work explores memory, heritage, nature, and the passage of time through atmospheric compositions that evolve organically during the creative process. Rather than following a fixed image, I allow each painting to develop through layers of colour, gesture, transparency, and texture, creating works that balance spontaneity with depth.

Inspired by landscapes, botanical forms, weathered surfaces, and fragments of personal and collective memory, my paintings invite viewers to form their own emotional connections and interpretations.

Each artwork is a unique original piece, created entirely by hand and guided by intuition, experimentation, and a fascination with the stories hidden within layers.

“Sea of Galilee”
Deep, vivid blue waters stretch toward the horizon — alive with texture and light, as the sun rises gently over the hills. Golden and amber skies spill warm light across the waves, casting a radiant path that shimmers all the way to the shore. White sailboats drift calmly across the water — silent, peaceful, carried by the quiet breath of the morning. The land rises in soft, earthy brown and gold, ancient and enduring, framing this sacred sea.
