Santicri has participated in numerous art exhibitions of international repute. Among the most significant, in 2022 he displayed his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he attended the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thus expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts.
Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. A simple, recognizable figure is transformed into something different. The teddy bear, a symbol of affection and protection, keeps its shape but loses its function: it is no longer something to touch or to live with lightly.

The surface completely changes the perception of the work. What appears familiar from a distance becomes distant, almost inaccessible up close. This creates a direct contrast between what we know and what we see.

The work plays precisely on this tension: on one side it attracts, on the other it keeps at a distance. In this way, a childhood image is reinterpreted in a contemporary key, becoming something more complex and less reassuring.

Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in Geomancy and Architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture artisan. There arose an ever-stronger need to find himself and unleash his creativity.
