“ARCHEMISIO” is a contemporary painter famous for his hyperrealist oil-on-canvas works, in which photographic precision blends with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Raised on the streets of Rome, from a young age he was fascinated by the Baroque masterpieces displayed in the churches and museums of the city, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and for the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Archemisio traveled across Europe and the United States, refining the hyperrealist technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style is distinguished by a Caravaggesque heritage: his works capture meticulous details (from skin wrinkles to reflections on an object) yet are immersed in a theatrical and directional light that shapes volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
