“ARCHEMISIO” is a contemporary painter famous for his hyperrealist oil-on-canvas works, where he blends photographic precision with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Growing up on the streets of Rome, from a young age he was fascinated by the Baroque masterpieces on display in the city’s churches and museums, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and for the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, Archemisio traveled through Europe and the United States, refining his hyperrealist technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style stands out for the Caravaggesque heritage: his works capture minute details (from wrinkles in the skin to reflections on an object) but are immersed in a theatrical and directional light, which chisels the volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
