AFTERNOON AND QUIET I represents a domestic interior frozen in a moment of calm. The composition brings together different elements of the home, such as a bed, a side table, a lamp and a vase with branches, organized within a structure of large geometric planes.

The scene is dominated by a palette of dusty pinks, blues, whites and neutral tones that build a soft and serene atmosphere. The color surfaces are combined with textures and small pictorial marks that add depth and material to the composition.

The bed occupies the central area and functions as one of the main points of balance in the work. In front of it, the lamp and the small table introduce vertical and horizontal lines that organize space. The vase with branches provides an organic element that contrasts with the geometric precision of the different planes.

The light and color suggest a later moment of the day, when the daily rhythm slows and the space gains a more intimate atmosphere. The objects remain in place and the absence of human figures allows focus on the environment itself and the sense of stillness it conveys.

In AFTERNOON AND QUIET I, the everyday becomes a visual composition where objects, shapes and color build a silent domestic scene. The work invites the viewer to pause on a simple and recognizable moment, turned here into an image of calm and contemplation.

The series DOMESTIC SCENES explores the intimacy of everyday spaces through compositions that combine recognizable home elements with geometric shapes, color planes and different pictorial textures.

Objects and domestic corners appear simplified and reorganized within contemporary compositions, where tables, lamps, vases, furniture and other everyday elements acquire a new visual dimension. The domestic scene ceases to be a literal representation to become a space constructed through color, form and balance.

The series is especially interested in those moments of pause that take place inside the home. The light, the objects, and the various surfaces create silent atmospheres in which the everyday acquires an intimate and contemplative character.

Geometric language coexists with small organic gestures and figural details, generating a balance between structure and spontaneity. Overlaid planes, curved shapes and lines build spaces that seem recognizable and, at the same time, partially imagined.

DOMESTIC SCENES thus offers a view of the home as a space of calm, memory and contemplation, where everyday objects transform into compositional elements and daily life becomes pictorial matter.

AUTHENTICITY
Each work is hand-signed on the reverse of the canvas, keeping the pictorial surface clean and without altering its visual composition. The signature includes the title of the work and the series, the year and month of creation, dimensions, technique and the name and signature of TRACY CANO GARCÍA.
The work is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) that certifies authorship and guarantees its authenticity.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
The work will be carefully shipped rolled in a protective tube, ensuring adequate protection during transport. This system also helps reduce packaging volume and enable a safer and more sustainable shipment. The canvas has an additional margin of approximately 5 cm on each side, intended to allow subsequent mounting or restretching on a frame, which can be carried out by the buyer or by a specialized professional.
