The Suns Room presents an interior flooded with light in which a large glass wall establishes a direct dialogue between the domestic space and the exterior landscape. A natural-fiber lounge chair occupies the foreground, accompanied by small plants, ceramic containers and a curtain that falls beside the window. On the other side of the glass, the vegetation, the sky and the water appear fragmented by the green grid of the frames, turning the landscape into a succession of small scenes within the composition itself.

Light is one of the main constructive elements of the work. When it passes through the glass wall it casts long shadows on the floor and emphasizes the ocher, orange and yellow tones of the interior, which contrast with the greens and blues of the exterior. The rigid geometry of the window counterpoints the curved lines of the chair and the irregular fall of the curtain, creating a balance between structure and organicity. The result is a quiet, luminous scene that conveys the sense of a inhabited space, even though it is momentarily empty.

The Suns Room forms part of Mar Legón's research on interiors, windows and transitional spaces, where architecture functions as a frame to explore the relationship between intimacy, landscape and light. Made entirely by hand in 2026, this unique piece gathers some of the characteristic features of the artist’s recent production: an intense chromatic palette, synthesized forms, defined luminous contrasts and a spatial construction based on large color planes. Mar Legón develops a painting practice focused on reinterpretation of landscapes, interiors, still lifes and figurative scenes through a visual language based on color, formal synthesis and atmosphere-building.

Her work transforms spaces and recognizable motifs into images of strong visual intensity, where reality is simplified and reorganized to give rise to scenes that oscillate between memory, imagination and contemplation.

PACKAGING AND AUTHENTICITY

The work is offered directly by Mar Legón, and includes a certificate signed by the artist. The painting (unframed) will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube to ensure its proper preservation during transport. After payment is confirmed, a maximum of three business days is required to prepare the work before shipment. Delivery time varies by destination, with an estimated period of up to ten business days, depending on the shipping company chosen by the buyer.
