Description from the seller
Force Line
This contemporary abstract artwork is built around a powerful dialogue between black, white and golden nuances. Large black shapes cross the surface of the canvas and create an almost architectural structure, while the fine lines and visible traces of the painting gesture add depth and movement to the composition.
White dominates the space and creates a sense of silence and light. In front of this opening, black appears as a force, a dense matter that structures and interrupts the space. A few touches of beige and gold bring warmth and contrast, like fragments of matter or traces left by time.
The composition thus rests on a balance between strength and lightness, construction and rupture, matter and space. The horizontal and vertical lines give the work a particular graphic tension, while leaving the viewer wide freedom of interpretation.
The material, the superpositions and the deliberately visible imperfections give the painting its contemporary and spontaneous character. The work can fit naturally into a modern interior as well as into a minimalist space where it becomes a true focal point.
Title: Force Line
Technique: mixed media on canvas
Style: contemporary abstraction
A sober and expressive work, which will naturally find its place in a contemporary interior and invites the eye to move between force, silence and light.
The painting will be shipped rolled in a tube, without the frame.
