Wahid Magharbeh (1942–2018), Paesaggio, oil on canvas (70 × 50 cm), signed by hand and dated 1985, in the Italian impressionist style, original edition, sold with frame.
Description from the seller
Oil on canvas, 50 x 70 cm, signed and dated in the lower left corner “M. Wahid ’85”
A countryside view dominated by a large tree with autumnal golden foliage, rendered with dense, textural brushstrokes that capture the play of light among the branches. At the foot of the trunk, several figures seated in colorful clothes (red, green) enliven the scene with a touch of everyday life, while in the background a wide landscape opens toward the horizon.
The impasto technique, with vibrant and layered color strokes, recalls the widely diffused post-Impressionist style in Italian collectible decorative painting of the 1980s.
Provenance: the work is accompanied by dual documentation — the “Tartaglia Arte” certificate from Rome (no. 14/570) and the guarantee and valuation certificate from the gallery “Il Castello” of Adria (1985) — both attached in the photos.
