# Oi Kounsai – Yoshino-e Tame-nuri Large Natsume Tea Caddy, Nashiji Interior, with Original Wooden Box – Japanese Tea Ceremony
A refined Japanese **large natsume (tea caddy)** crafted by **Oi Kounsai (大井好雲斎)**.
This elegant piece features a **Yoshino-e (吉野絵)** design executed on a beautiful **tame-nuri (溜塗)** lacquer surface, based on a style favored by **Sosai (惺斎好写)**.
The restrained Yoshino decoration and deep translucent tone of the tame-nuri lacquer create an elegant appearance characteristic of traditional Japanese tea ceremony utensils.
The interior is finished in **nashiji (梨地)**, a traditional lacquer technique producing a finely textured, pear-skin-like appearance.
The natsume comes with its **original wooden storage box (tomobako)** and accompanying leaflet (shiori).
