Pair of ornate brass table lamps in Rococo/Louis XV style, estimated to be from the second half of the 20th century (1950–1960), each with two light sources (four in total), in used condition and requiring electrical restoration.
Description from the seller
Pair of elegant brass desktop lamps – 2-light – Rococo style – restoration objects
Description
Decorative pair of matching brass table lamps, richly executed in classic Rococo / Louis XV style.
Each lamp is equipped with two light points, graceful horizontal arms and leaf-shaped candle holders. The central stem is richly decorated and rests on a beautifully shaped foot with rocaille, leaf and scroll ornaments. The tall central rods are crowned at the top with a decorative ornament.
In the fixtures there are small holes that were presumably intended for rosettes, crystals, or other hanging decorations. These decorative components are not present. The lamps can be used in their current sober execution or, at one's own discretion, be fitted with crystals again.
Electrical condition
The electrical installation is old and needs to be checked. One lamp works only partially. Therefore, both lamps are offered as restoration/ renovation objects, with replacement or revision of the wiring and electrical components recommended before use. The current operation is not guaranteed.
