Artist Le Yack, title The Long Goodbye - Hand-signed, a limited edition print (20 copies) from 2023, created in digital painting technique as a giclée on canvas, 40 x 60 cm, signed by the artist.
Description from the seller
Palm Springs, full sun, azure sky without a nuance. In front of a modernist pavilion with impeccably horizontal lines, a white convertible Cadillac Eldorado unfurls its chrome fins like a metal fish. Backed against the front wing, a redhead with a strict bun, black blouse and short shorts, legs endless and heels in gold, arms crossed: she looks to the left, off frame, in a stance of waiting or refusal. Semiotically, the black garment intrudes into a setting entirely made of chalky whites, mineral blues, and mountain browns: she is the anomaly, the punctuation. The palm trees and the Sierra close the horizon; the short shade marks noon. Smooth, almost photorealistic, in the vein of West Coast American realism.
