Description from the seller
Haussmannian building facade at blue hour: gray stone, wrought-iron balconies, windows where the warm amber of interiors lights the encroaching night. In one of them, ajar, a young woman naked has crouched on the sill, in profile, bathed by the golden light of the room behind her — an ordinary gesture, seized from the outside, in the intimacy of an evening. Semiotically, the painting plays on the contrast between inside and outside: the amber warmth of the hearth against the cold blue of the urban night, the body offered to the light against the anonymity of façades. The illuminated window becomes a small theater, and the spectator, a passerby who looks up. The gold-yellow of the window surrounds punctuates a range of nocturnal blues and stone grays; a smooth finish, a boldly off-centered composition.

Other works are produced as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection. Le Yack's style reflects a fusion between traditional realism and the creative possibilities offered by digital technology.
