Original hand-painted artwork on canvas by Aveline, an artist based in Aosta, a small Alpine town in northern Italy near the French and Swiss borders.

Named after the volcano, Etna is inspired by the raw energy of lava, ash, smoke, and volcanic stone. Each small painted fragment feels like a separate moment of movement — a flow, a crack, an eruption, or a surface beginning to cool.
The deep blacks, warm reds, muted greens, and soft whites create a strong but balanced composition. The neat grid brings structure to the work, while the gestures inside each square remain spontaneous and full of life.
At its heart, Etna is about the contrast between order and chaos, stillness and energy. Its bold details draw the eye, while the open white space keeps the piece light, calm, and easy to live with in a contemporary interior.
