Description from the seller
Series: Jardines de la Memoria
Title: Happy Garden
Happy Garden proposes a garden built from memory and contemplation, where nature fragments and reorganizes into a contemporary visual language. Geometric superpositions, transparencies and color layers dialogue with organic elements — flowers, fruits and vegetation — that emerge between planes of intense blue and deep greens, while a serene-looking pool introduces a space of pause and reflection. The yellow sphere floating in the water acts as a subtle conceptual counterpoint, providing a playful presence that contrasts with the rigorous structure of the composition. The work explores the balance between emotion and order, evoking an inner landscape where memory transforms into a poetic, sophisticated visual experience open to multiple interpretations.
About R.Robin
Robinson Rodríguez García is a visual artist, theater designer and drawing professor, born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, and resident in Spain. Graduated in 2003 from the Provincial Academy of Fine Arts, he develops an artistic practice focused on painting and contemporary language, where abstraction, geometry and a strong symbolic charge converge. Between 2003 and 2005 he taught drawing workshops at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech School of Art Instructors, and between 2006 and 2009 he worked as a costume and set designer for the Provincial Council of the Performing Arts of Santa Clara, an experience that decisively influenced his spatial and formal conception within the visual arts.
His work has been presented in various solo exhibitions in Cuba, highlighting shows at the Provincial Gallery of Art and at institutional spaces in Santa Clara. He has also participated in important group exhibitions and international fairs, among them Art Basel Miami, collective exhibitions in France and contemporary art events in America and Europe. In 2017 he participated in art fairs in Mexico. His career is complemented by studies and international workshops related to scenic design and visual creation, consolidating a multidisciplinary artistic profile that dialogues between painting, space and the contemporary symbolic experience.
