A fascinating edition from the early seventeenth century of the extraordinary collection of treatises on methods of curing diseases by the great physician, surgeon, and Greek philosopher. The Seventh Class contains a Treatise on Therapeutic Methods, three Treatises on readily prepared remedies, various Treatises on pediatric epilepsy, diseases of the eyes and kidneys, on surgery, on fractures and dislocations with descriptions of the various types of bandages, ligatures, and orthopedic traction and containment equipment. Half-leather binding. Gold-tooled spine with gilt title. Splendid illustrated title-page with eight fine vignettes depicting medical scenes and the title in the center. Printer’s mark on the title-page. Illustrated with numerous engravings showing orthopedic equipment, orthopedic rehabilitation methods, and types of bandages.
