Description from the seller
A spectacular art print for science fiction enthusiasts and monumental illustrations: the large art screen print entitled "The Central Area," created from the original work by the indispensable master of genre comics, Philippe Druillet.
The visual, with the architecturally striking verticality typical of Druillet's style, reworks a composition created in 1980 (watercolor, gouache and India ink on cardboard) that served as a production backdrop for the Wagner Space Opera film project.
This premium edition was printed by the renowned prestige house Archives Internationales.
Technique: High-end traditional color print in 9 successive color passes, delivering contrasts and texture faithful to the original drawing.
Support: Heavy art paper Chromomat 250g.
Print run: Limited edition of only 500 copies worldwide.
Dimensions: Very large prestige format: 70.00 cm x 100.00 cm (Ideal for creating a strong visual focal point in a living room or office).
Condition:
Very good overall condition. The illustration board (the colored printed area) remains in like-new condition, with hues and blacks of absolute depth. Only a very light natural aging yellowing along the extreme outer edge of the white margins on the paper is noted. This minor aesthetic detail will disappear completely once framed with a mat.
