Unique and original work painted by hand by Léo Varek
French contemporary artist Léo Varek is developing today a series of pop canvases inspired by street art codes, built around a strong visual energy.
Before this studio work, I completed numerous monumental murals, notably in Europe, including an intervention over 600 m² in Courcheval, France. This track directly nourishes my current approach, more condensed, but always guided by visual impact.
My works are now distributed internationally and shipped worldwide. Each canvas is handmade in my studio in France, using mixed techniques blending acrylic and aerosol.
I work spontaneously in order to preserve a tension in the gesture, bold contrasts and a real vibration of the colors.
