The face occupies the whole canvas, frontal, offered. The eyelids are closed, the heavy lashes laid like two strokes of black ink, and the full mouth remains closed on a silence that has nothing sad about it: the calm of a woman who prays or contemplates. ORA VIENNA is one of the creations bringing together artists Le Yack, Neo Pablo and Popsan within Atelier Joconde, a family studio where three sensibilities coexist: neo-realism, pop, and libre figurative. Under the name ORA VIENNE, the gold of Vienna, the Atelier explores the vein of the Vienna Secession and Klimt’s golden age: golden mosaics, sensuality of flesh, impasto and gold leaf laid by hand.
ORA VIENNE brings together figures of women captured in frames of gold and darkness, sovereigns, lovers or dreamers, where the living body dialogue with the timeless shine of the precious metal.
