Dutch vintage decorative tray of azulejos – Ter Steege – 48 × 34 cm

Beautiful and striking vintage decorative tray of Dutch origin, composed of six ceramic tiles in blue and white tones, mounted on a solid natural wooden frame.

The detailed scene represents the interior of an old Dutch cheese or dairy traditional dairy, showing the artisanal process of dairy product production. The composition includes a large wooden tub, a traditional press, containers of milk and cheeses, as well as a woman working accompanied by a girl and several cats. Through the open door you can glimpse a charming rural scene with cows, a farmer, and windmills in the background.

At the bottom there is the inscription “Holland”, and on the back it retains the original label with the indication “Handdecorated by Ter Steege in Holland – For decorative purpose only”.
