The ingenious design features four smoothly sliding storage compartments that expand into a striking symmetrical form. Ideal for storing jewellery, sewing accessories, writing implements or other treasured items, this box combines outstanding functionality with exceptional craftsmanship.
Produced in the mid-20th century, this piece is distinguished by its high-quality Thuya burl veneer, warm golden-brown colour and remarkable grain pattern. Every panel displays unique natural figuring, making each example one of a kind.
The box is in very good vintage condition, with only light signs of age and use consistent with its age. No maker’s mark or signature is visible. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
