The black stands out against the silver, emphasizing G-SHOCK’s iconic strength while offering a monochromatic design that pairs well with a wide range of styles. The GM-B2100BT features a hairline finish on the top bezel, creating a subdued metallic look. Furthermore, the indices are coated with silver vapor deposition to enhance visibility and create a striking contrast with the dial. The stainless steel bezel is three-dimensionally formed through a labor-intensive process involving forging, machining, and polishing, resulting in a beautiful finish. To achieve a shock-resistant structure with an all-metal construction, a fine resin cushioning material is incorporated between the bezel and the case. Furthermore, the metal band pieces feature a dimpled finish, paying homage to the resin band design of the very first G-SHOCK model. Manufacturing takes place at “Yamagata Casio,” the mother factory that produced the original G-SHOCK. The stainless steel case features a screw-back design that ensures excellent water resistance.
