In contrast to prints on canvas, my hand-painted originals offer an unmistakable experience. Every brushstroke and the texture of the paint are tangible and contribute to the individual character of each work.
About the artist: Floria Rey, a multidisciplinary artist living in Berlin, explores in her works the themes of light and space as well as the relationships between memory and nature. Her paintings, sculptures, and installations are characterized by a dynamic interaction with light and air passages that establish a tension between the surfaces and the space behind them.
Floria Rey has already presented her works internationally, including major exhibitions in New York, Art Basel Miami, Bristol, Luxembourg, Milan and Barcelona, as well as at the Art Biennale Venezia 2022. Her art is listed on platforms such as Artsy, Singulart, Saatchi, Akoun and Artmajeur, reaching a broad audience. Upcoming exhibitions in 2026 at Galerie Le Chien D`Or Quebec, Casa del Arte Palma, Nicoleta Gallery Berlin. Soon featured in the exhibition GRAVITY & LEVITY — A Cosmic Dance, hosted by Naeil Gallery, Jongno-gu SEOUL, October 9-21, 2026, and Hong Art Museum China, December 2026.

Seller's Story
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions or simply want to say “hello” once you have received your piece. Each of my pieces has its own personality and is a unique work of art.
I find it totally fascinating how light streams into a room and everything it touches is transformed for a brief moment. This sunlight seems almost magical – it lifts even the most everyday things to a special level. These transitional spaces, where light and shadow play, are at once tangible and yet like from memory. For me, they are also a perfect occasion to experiment with color.
Thus a kind of palimpsest is created—a surface that tells its own story, because you can still see the traces of its creation. It is precisely this tension between transience and permanence that makes my work so exciting to me.
