Indonesian hand-carved wooden furniture panels – 3-piece set – rich relief decoration

Special 3-piece set of hand-carved wooden furniture panels from Indonesia, coming from a single artisan-made piece of furniture.

The panels are executed in deep relief and show a very detailed East Asian-inspired landscape with architecture, pavilions, trees, rock formations and human figures. The different levels in the carving create a strong three-dimensional effect.

The dark background and accents form a beautiful contrast with the warm wood and emphasize the finely carved depiction.

The set consists of:
1 large central panel: net approx. 82 × 30 cm
2 matching smaller panels: each approx. 38 × 10 cm

All three panels come from the same artisan-made furniture and thus form an authentic cohesive ensemble.

On the large panel the original metal hasp/key fittings are still present, matching the original function as a furniture part. Signs of age and use are visible and contribute to the character.

A decorative and hard-to-find set that is interesting for lovers of Indonesian wood carving and Asian handicrafts as well as for use in an interior, restoration project or as a standalone wall decoration.
