Description from the seller
Technical Details and Description
Original acrylic painting on high-quality canvas, 500 g/m²
Size: 180 × 110 cm
Technique: Acrylic painting
Unique, handmade and signed
After stretching on a frame, the visible image format is approximately 172 × 102 cm (with a 2 cm frame depth) or 168 × 98 cm (with a 4 cm frame depth).
Moonlit Blossom presents a poetic composition of blooming branches emerging from a deep, atmospheric blue. White flowers open in different stages—from delicate buds to fully unfurled blooms—and seem to float between darkness, fog, and gentle light.
The deliberately reduced color palette is based on white and a deeply mixed blue tone composed individually from ultramarine, crimson, and black. Through varying ratios, numerous subtle gradations arise—from almost pure white to cool, bluish intermediate tones to a very dark, almost black blue.
The background evolves from deep, dark tones at the bottom to a softer, glowing blue. The flowers also reflect this color world: some stand out brightly in the foreground, while others retreat with a higher blue content and almost dissolve into the background. This creates several visual levels and a special spatial depth.
Fine, curved branches guide the eye through the large-format composition and connect the individual clusters of blossoms. Deliberately left-open areas create calm and spaciousness while reinforcing the impact of the bright blooms.
The interplay of light and dark gives the work a quiet, almost dreamlike atmosphere. The white flowers seem to glow from the depths of the blue background—as if touched by gentle moonlight.
The title Moonlit Blossom captures exactly this special lighting mood. It describes less a concrete nocturnal landscape and more the poetic effect of the painting: a still moment between light and darkness, in which the blossoms seem to glow for a moment.
The painting is carefully rolled and securely packaged for shipment in a sturdy shipping tube.
